Foreign Travel

Patients are asked to check the website www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/home.aspx to identify what vaccinations they require for their destination.  We only provide Tetanus, Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations for Travel.  If you require any of these vaccinations for your destination then please contact the Practice and book an appointment with a Practice Sister at least 6-8 weeks before travel.  If any additional vaccinations are required then patients will have to attend a Travel Clinic where there will be a charge for the service.

Health Promotion Clinics

In addition to the above a full range of services are provided by the Practice Sisters (eg weight reduction, well-woman, helicobacter breath tests, cholesterol checks).

New Patient Registration

We recommend that all patients registering with the practice for the first time have a health check.  Please make an appointment with the Health Care Assistant.  This is important since your medical records may take some time to be transferred from your previous Practice.

Additional Services

The Health Centre also offers a Dental Service, who can be contacted on 01292 550292 and an Optometrist Service, who can be contacted on 01655 883928.

Available Direct from your Pharmacist

The Minor Ailment Service (MAS) allows eligible individuals to register with and use a community pharmacy as the first port of call for the treatment of common illnesses on the NHS. A patient registers with the community pharmacy of their choice in order to use MAS.
