The Practice is a Training Practice which means that we will have GP Trainees for 6 months or 1 year placements. Our current Trainees are Dr Rachel Crawford (ST3) who will be in our Practice until October 2026, Dr Stuart Thomson (ST2) who will be in our Practice from May 26 for 1 year and Dr Mehak Sohail (ST2) who will be in our Practice in 2027. We also have 4th and 5th Year Medical Students from Dundee and Glasgow University for a 4 week placement.
The GP trainees have got numerous years of experience in hospital and NHS. They will be observing GPs in their clinics and seeing patients themselves. A GP will be supervising the Trainees at all times.
With patient consent, some consultations may be recorded for training purposes. Patient acceptance of this will be greatly appreciated.
